Kavli Institute for Particle Astrophysics

The Kavli Institute examines the interface between particle physics, astrophysics, and cosmology. One of six Kavli Institutes related to astrophysics, the building serves as a new “arrival” statement for the Stanford Linear Accelerator Campus (SLAC) and completes the fourth side of SLAC’s central quad. Designed to maximize collaboration among researchers, the building contains offices for 90 people, an auditorium, conference rooms, visualization laboratories, and collaborative areas.
